A Buying Service Built Around the Seller
We purchase luxury watches directly from the people who own them: private owners, collectors, and families settling an estate. We do not retail watches, list your watch for sale on your behalf, or take a commission from a future sale price. When you accept our offer, we are the buyer.
Most sellers start online from anywhere in the United States. If you are in the New York metro area, you can ask about meeting our team in person by appointment. Either way, you can speak with us by phone or email before deciding whether to submit anything.
Sellers in the city can read how our New York appointments work.
Rolex is the brand we are asked about most, and we also buy Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Omega, Cartier, Breitling, and other luxury Swiss watches. If you own a Rolex, our Rolex selling page covers the references we buy and what to photograph.
What We Do and What We Don't
Knowing how a buyer works before you contact them saves time. Here is exactly where we stand.
We do
- Buy watches outright, with no listing period or waiting for a third-party buyer
- Evaluate each watch at the reference level, not by model name alone
- Explain how we arrived at the offer
- Provide a prepaid, tracked, insured FedEx overnight label once you accept
- Send payment by bank wire or Zelle the same day your watch is verified and the final offer is accepted
We don't
- Sell watches to the public; this site is for people selling a watch
- Charge an appraisal fee or require you to accept an offer
- Take a seller commission
- Ask you to ship a watch before you have our shipping instructions
- Pay by any method other than bank wire or Zelle
How We Evaluate Your Watch
Send us the brand, model, condition, and clear photos, including any box, papers, or service records. We identify the exact reference, assess the factors below, and explain our offer.
Reference and generation
Two watches with the same model name can be different references with very different values. The reference number sets the starting point.
Originality
Whether the dial, hands, bezel, bracelet, and movement are correct for the reference, and whether anything has been replaced or refinished.
Condition
Case polishing and lug definition, bracelet stretch, crystal and bezel wear, and whether the watch is running correctly.
Completeness
Original box, warranty card or papers, and service records. A full set usually helps, but we also buy watches without them.
Market comparisons
Recent secondary-market comparisons for the same reference and configuration, so the offer reflects current conditions.
A clear explanation
We explain the offer before you decide whether to proceed. There is no appraisal fee and no obligation to accept.
Checking prices on your own first?
Independent sources such as WatchCharts (market analytics) and Chrono24 (an open marketplace) are useful for seeing where a reference trades. Keep in mind that most figures there are asking prices or market indexes, not what a buyer pays to purchase a watch outright. Retail prices, dealer asking prices, auction results, and purchase offers each measure something different.
How Selling to Us Works
The same process applies whether you ship from another state or meet us in New York.
Submit your watch details and photos
Use our appraisal form to share the brand, model, condition, and photos. Submitting is free and does not commit you to anything.
Receive an offer
We usually respond with an offer the same day, and we explain how we arrived at it. You are free to ask questions or decline.
Ship it or meet in person
After you accept, we send packing instructions and a prepaid, tracked, insured FedEx overnight label. Sellers in the New York metro area can ask about an in-person appointment instead.
Inspection and authentication
When your watch arrives, our team inspects and authenticates it against the details you supplied. If the final offer changes, you decide whether to accept it.
Payment by bank wire or Zelle
Once the watch is verified and you accept the final offer, we send payment by bank wire or Zelle the same day. When the funds become available depends on your bank and the payment method's processing.
Please wait for our instructions before shipping
Do not send a watch before receiving our shipping instructions. We can discuss eligibility and the process by phone or email first.
Learn Before You Sell
Knowing your reference and what drives its value makes any conversation with a buyer more productive, including one with us.
